CUUSS-TS Potluck Friday, August 14th
CUUSS-TS, our allied CSN union representing technicians, is hosting a potluck Friday, August 14th at Beaver Lake and has invited CREW members to join them! This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow Concordia workers who we’ll be negotiating alongside and to enjoy one of the last Fridays before the the Fall semester in good company.
When: August 14th at 1pm
Where: Beaver Lake, Mount Royal, between the lake and parking lot
What to bring:
Anything you want to throw on a grill!
BYOB!
Chairs, games, outdoor activities
Colleagues, friends, family, pets!
BBQ (charcoal only)

Get Involved in Bargaining!
Your Bargaining Committee is organizing the first meetings of article committees - groups of members who are invested in specific bargaining issues and demands, where we will work together to develop proposed contract language and prepare our negotiations strategy with the employer. To join an article committee, fill out this form and select the relevant option - all are welcome!
All meetings will take place in the CREW office (PR-100, 2100 Mackay), with a hybrid option. All members who have expressed interest in a committee using the form will receive a zoom link.
Permanence & Job Security
This committee deals with job security, hiring practices, and our demand for a system of permanence or priority pool.
Disciplinary Measures & the Grievance Process
This committee deals the grievance process and disciplinary measures, ensuring our members are well protected and able to defend their contractual rights.
Monetary Issues
This committee deals with all monetary issues such as wages, RA tiers, and analyzing Concordia’s financial situation.
Technological Changes & AI
This committee deals protections against technological changes and negotiating policy on AI that protect jobs and the dignity of our labour.
Protection against Harassment & Discrimination, & Organizational Justice
This committee deals with article 5 of the collective agreement, which protects members against harassment and discrimination, and provides a framework to fight for organizational justice in the workplace.
